The main campus in San Martín is located around former railway buildings and covers an area of 16 hectares. With more than a dozen new buildings, many of which won important architecture prizes, it has become a privileged space for teaching, research, cultural development, and social interaction among all members of the UNSAM community.
Located in downtown Buenos Aires, between the iconic Obelisk and Plaza de Mayo, the building was inaugurated in 1935 and is part of the city’s historic heritage. Originally designed by the architect Alejandro Bustillo in the art déco style typical of that period, it now hosts classrooms, offices, and other UNSAM facilities.
