The seminar is a space for reflection on issues and problems raised by the practice and theory of translation. The aim is to invite those interested in and practising the translation of works and writings in the humanities to reflect on some of the concepts on which the conception of translation as a discipline is based, as a creative and re-creative hermeneutic practice, whose production is the form of writing that, in intercultural dialogue, investigates and tests the boundaries of cultures and ideas, of what is susceptible (and possible) to be written and re-written.
